The readers may lend for home reading no more than 5 volumes at one and the same time. Fiction and textbooks may be lent for one month, scientific literature – up to three months. The term for lending may be prolonged once: the book should be presented and preregistered at the Sector of Library Services. Only books published after 1949 are lent for home reading. The books published before 1949 and all periodicals are used only in the reading room. If the rules are broken, the reader is warned and is exempted from the right to use library documents for 6 months and he is imposed on a fine for each week delay. Consult “Price-list”.
