The news bulletin of the Central Library of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences is a monthly electronic еdition, issued in Bulgarian since March 2007. It aims to inform about the library’s activities and information options, as well as about the libraries of the different institutes; to present the scientific activities and important events in the academic library network; to inform about the cultural events, exhibitions and jubilees of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the academic members and prominent Bulgarian scholars.

The bulletin “Bulgarica” presents current bibliography in the field of the Bulgarian studies and makes a connection between the Bulgarian scientific institutions and the foreign Bulgarian scholars. The bulletin is distributed by the Central Library of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences through the book exchange service and also by order in several foreign universities, scientific institutions and libraries.

“Problems  of the special libraries” is a thematic periodical collection, issued by the Central Library of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. This edition is the continuation of the 7 volumes of “Journal of CL of BAS” (1959-1973).  They present the library’s functions and responsabilities as a national coordinator in the field of the special libraries and special bibliography in Bulgaria.
